These IPOs are really all just so dang cute.
Corp: HELLO EVERYONE. WE ARE A SUPER SUCESSFULL. SUPER WEALTHY. SUPER EXPERIENCED GROUP OF TRADERS. WE ARE HAVING AN IPO. :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
WE HAVE SO MUCH MONEY ALREADY AND YOUR INVESTMENT WILL BE A GREAT ONE. YOU WILL GET SO MUCH MONEY IN RETURN OK????? OK?!

You could start a corporation IRL. and not have an IPO ever. Or you could be a world known name before having an IPO. ( such as facebook ) which recently went public last year.
You have pretty much just doomed yourself with what you have just said. btw. it was one of those Not-sure-if-trolling-or-just-stupid things. |

But a company issues Bonds or shares for the same reason which is to raise capital because they don't have enough money. |
